Puget Sound s Most Outstanding Student-Athletes of the 2018-19 year were honored by the Tacoma Athletic Commission at Tower Lanes Thursday afternoon.

Puget Sound Athletics finished fourth for the 2018-19 Northwest Conference McIlroy-Lewis All-Sports Trophy, rounding out the academic year with 198 points. The Loggers matched Whitman in the standings, and Whitworth led the NWC with 268 points.

Long-time Puget Sound cross country and track & field head coach Mike Orechia announced his resignation to pursue other professional opportunities. Orechia will remain with the Loggers through the conclusion of the 2019 track & field outdoor season.
