The Puget Sound cross country teams have plenty to prove when they run in the Charles Bowles Invitational, hosted by Willamette, in Salem, Oregon Saturday, Sept. 29.
Both the Puget Sound men's and women's cross country teams placed 13th in the Charles Bowles Invitational hosted by Willamette Saturday morning. There were 22 women's teams, and 19 men's teams.
Neither of the two Loggers competed in collegiate cross country last year, but Puget Sound s Emery Bradlina and Colin Monaghan both began the 2018 cross country season by earning Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week honors.
Two weeks after winning the Puget Sound Invitational, the Logger men s and women s cross country teams are back in action for the Pacific Lutheran Invitational Saturday, Sept. 15.
Freshman Colin Monaghan placed second overall in the men s 8k of the Pacific Lutheran Invitational, and both the Puget Sound men s and women s cross country teams finished fifth Saturday afternoon.
